IQubits moves to AGH University of Science and Technology, new Partner and Coordinator
As a consequence of the unilateral decision of the management of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Head of Department and Head of Section) to dismantle and relocate the Wireless Transceivers Research Laboratory at Aarhus University, a high-complexity research laboratory equipped with the latest state-of-the-art hardware and software infrastructure with the dedicated (sophisticated) CAD tools and test facilities established end led by Prof. Zito, and despite the endless requests made by Prof. Zito to desist from such a unilateral decision and/or postpone such move to a future time after the end of the project, IQubits experienced a major stoppage in 2022 during its intense research activies at Aarhus University.
Since 2023, Prof. Zito and IQubits have moved to AGH University of Science and Technology, new Partner and Coordinator, so to carry out the remaining research and coordination activities, and secure the successful completion of IQubits. This has been a big step to save IQubits, a most advanced EU H2020 FET Open frontier research project of the European Commission on Quantum Technologies, from the dramatic lack of support and disruption of the activities experienced at Aarhus University.
